What to wear?
I tend to shoot against a high key white background or a black background. Therefore, to avoid blending into the background, you should choose colours which contrast with your preferred style of photography. If you would like to be photographed as part of a group, avoid clashing patterns and colours. A change of outfit is always useful for babies and children who may get a bit messy during the fun of the session!
How long does a portrait session last?
Although most shoots can be done within 45 minutes, I allocate up to two hours for a newborn session, to cater for all eventualities. There is no limit to the amount of images I take during the session.
Can I take favourite toys?
Yes, of course! I also have a range of toys and props which can be used in the photos or simply to make the children laugh and relax.
My child has fallen and bruised her face - will it show on the photos?
I always review each photo and edit with software to enhance natural beauty. If there is a graze or a blemish that you would like me to remove, just let me know and consider it done!
How pregnant can I be for bump photos?
Ideally between 22 and 34 weeks, although some mums-to-be can manage a portrait sitting up until 37 weeks.
Is there parking at the studio?
Yes, free off road parking.
